Energy. 

One of the most precious resources we have is our internal energy, it shapes the quality of our daily lives. Energy influences our mood, motivation, attention and is the resource that allows us to fulfil our passions and our loves. Natural bodily energy fluctuates and understanding its undulations can help us attune to our bodies needs and respect our internal capacities.

A simple yet profound exercise to observe energy levels throughout the day is suggested below.

Spend one day or more, noting your energy levels at regular intervals- upon waking, mid morning, lunch time, mid afternoon, dinner time, evening.

You can visually represent them as exampled in the graph opposite and below.

Whilst every persons body utilises and expends energy differently, ideally energy levels when represented in this graph fluctuate gently within the optimal window throughout the majority of the day.

The simple act of observing energy can bring about changes in how we use it.
