HEALTH AND WELLBEING.

On Fulfilment.

Wellbeing has been intricately tied to how content we feel in our lives, how fulfilled we feel.

Fulfilment, a nourishing inner sense of wholeness, is life affirming.

It is often conceived to arise from external pursuits, from success, achievement or through the roles and identities we play. However fulfillment can be distinguished purely from the the attainment of external goals, as the felt sense of being satisfied in one’s life. As speaker and author, Tony Robbin observed “Success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure”.

What fulfils us is deeply personal. Whilst it may arise through external pursuits, a sense of satisfaction with one’s life, may not be singular.

Fulfillment maybe something cultivated, rather than gained. A way of appreciating what is good in our lives, rather than what is missing- that does not deny the complexity or pain of the lived experience, but honours these together alongside our joys.

Fulfillment is an integration of these experiences to bring texture and substance to how we live.

What fulfils you?
