The Changing Landscape of Our Bodies.

Change- is the only constant in our lives. Experienced both in our outer realms and inner biology, our enviroments and bodies are continually evolving.

The ever changing landscape of our bodies, as Sarah Henderson discusses in a moving convseration with Krista Tipped for Onbeing is a “fact so ordinary, yet not something we routinely pause to know or to work with”.It’s a fact-our bodies continually shifting inner state- explained through science by circadian rhythms, how our biology adapts to it’s environment, that shapes how we feel, think and act.

Despite change being our inner physiological reality- that we are innately adaptable and transformative- cellularly air becomes oxygen nourishing cells, that becomes movement, behaviour and sensation, food too transforms- change can be a difficult and layered experience to navigate, challenging our brain and bodies predilection for predictability and pattern, and wider held beliefs in permanence.

Our bodies are not fixed, but are fluid, and it maybe through attuning to them and understanding their natural adaptive and cyclical qualities supports us in navigating change.
